At H2H, students are not just preparing for the future—they are helping create it.
H2H encourages young people to move beyond learning existing knowledge to asking meaningful questions, solving real-world problems, and contributing to innovations that improve lives.
As one example of this philosophy, concepts developed through the broader ACE–H2H collaboration contributed to a U.S. provisional patent application filed by ACE LLC in 2025, exploring novel approaches to integrating cardiometabolic physiology, digital health, and behavioral engagement to support cardiac recovery.
The application names H2H founder Laya Anand as co-inventor.
While H2H’s primary mission is not intellectual property, this milestone reflects a broader belief that students can meaningfully contribute to research, healthcare innovation, and the future of medicine while they are still in school.
Whether through scientific research, community leadership, entrepreneurship, or creative problem-solving, H2H aims to cultivate a generation of young people who combine curiosity with purpose, compassion with innovation, and knowledge with action.
Our vision is simple: to help develop a generation of thoughtful, resilient, and innovative leaders who are preparing to succeed in the future while actually helping shape it.
